Silvon is pleased to announce Version 7.6 of Stratum. Here's a quick summary of what's new in this release. Find more details here: V7.6 Stratum What's New. Upgrade instructions, requirements, and other key implementation documents can be found here: V7.6 Stratum.Viewer and Connector Documentation.
What's New?
- Expanded local data import options allow for imports from local SQL Server databases or local text, CSV, or Excel files.
- Advanced features delivered by Stratum Cloud Import enable Data Stewards to reliably transform and import transactional data from Azure Blob Containers, Azure File Share, Azure SQL Databases, and Azure Data Pipelines.
- A new Stratum Cloud API platform is another V76. feature for handling Azure imports or local SQL Server database imports.
- Import templates - add efficiencies to recurring import needs by creating a library of re-usable import templates. They store mapping details to automate key data import setup steps.
- Improvements in administration areas include email notifications to keep administrators informed of data import activity. There’s a revised Application Options window where any administrator can fine-tune basic settings that impact your environment’s look-and-feel (view fonts, grid colors, etc.). A new System Configuration window is available to Stratum Security Administrators to control security-related settings (for example, admin email notification properties).
- Silvon’s also introducing its first Create Tabular Database Utility, a tool for generating a tabular model of data from a multi-dimensional database. Results can be used with popular data visualization tools to look at your data in the tabular format.
